LeopoldLeopold and his Fiction - San Francisco, CA
“The trio [Leopold and His Fiction] is a trip to watch, boiling and smashing a diverse range of musical genre’s that is both ethereal and bombastic.”
-Campus Circle Magazine (Aug 2010)

“Golden Friends” is one of those rare blues/rock hybrids that all but defies “simple” descriptions, with vocals that deftly blend Jimmy Page and Jack White in a raw recording that does everything within its power to bring the live experience into the studio, whatever the cost. Hear! Hear! Music Blog

“The dark, brooding track [Golden Friends] screams and echos like a mashup of The Doors and Wolfmother… This is a song that will surely help launch them to wider recognition..” Front Porch Musings –Blog (March 2010)

TheThe Black Acid Band - West Midlands UK
“Loud, energetic, chaotic and fun” - Rhythm & Booze

Many a band has in mind a similar musical destination as the one you might expect here. TBAB, however, are taking an atypical route. The clichés that tire the rock genre are diverted. The differences are subtle but the result is the sound and thrill of something new.

“Spanner & Ratchet has deliciously fuzzy bass and occasional scratches, like a CD skip, emphasizing the lyrics. It’s erratic and ramshackle in a perfectly well formed way” - God is in the TV Zine

A Worcester based band with the final line up brought together early January 2010, TBAB are already turning heads around their local stomping ground and plan to widen their attack across the UK very soon.

TheThe Hotwalls - Detroit, Michigan
Hotwalls single "Conquer Din" just received Honorable Mention in Billboard's 17th World Song Contest.

"Early Brendan Benson meets early Mood Elevator. We dig!" - Eve Doster, Metro Times

"...jangling, melodic pop punk in a city wrought with ambitious indie, grimy pretense and post-psychedelia." RealDetroitWeekly.com

The Hotwalls are a Detroit/NYC-based band exhuming a frenzy of amplified pop, soul, punk, and roll. The songs are angular yet agile, with a tonal wallop and a flair for atmospherics.

The Hotwalls’ 2009 release, Everybody Here, boasts verve and versatility. From the album’s opener, Conquer Din, to the mocking waltz of the title-track and aching beauty of Sarabot, the band has developed remarkably si...

SofiaSofia Talvik - Sweden
“…an incredibly gifted singer songwriter.” – Riveting Riff

"It's a voice that sounds as desolately soulful as Joni Mitchell did in her glory days."
- Bohuslänningen.se Swedish blog

Soft, airy, and graceful, Swedish Singer/Songwriter Sofia Talvik is the next rising star from Sweden. With her fourth album "Florida" Sofia takes her sound a step further and mixes her Scandinavian heritage with the mystique of the American south, like the chants of black magic but tainted with the lingering sunshine of the Florida sun she takes us on a journey unlike any other.

Sofia Talvik sings songs touching on themes of love and heartbreak, as well as a healthy dose of anecdotal stories from her own life. In 2005, Talvik released her...

LoomisLoomis and the Lust - Santa Barbara CA.
Embracing classic pop hooks, throwing in a bit of soul, Brit pop and California sunshine, Loomis & the Lust has created a top notch pop rock sound that swirls with a light-hearted, fun-time attitude that conjures up visions of palm trees and good times. After releasing a batch of clever, catchy songs in their first EP last year, Loomis and the Lust quickly started making waves, being named one of the “Top 25 New Bands in the Word” by MTV Iggy, winning an MTVU “Freshman” video award, appearing in an online ad campaign for Subway. All their songs are danceable and contain so much energy that if you don’t move a body part while listening, you most likely don’t have a pulse.
“I’ll put it to you this way, within about thirty seconds you’ll b...

TheThe Epilogues - Denver, CO
Playing at the Mile High Music Festival on August 15th.

It's probably safe to say that the most commonly asked question for a band is, "what do you sound like?" But after four years, The Epilogues still struggle to find an answer, but it's not for lack of trying. The four piece band out of Denver, CO has been shrugging in response to that question for most of its existence. The Epilogues began as two friends (singer/guitarist Chris Heckman and keyboardist Nathaniel Hammond) hoping to create something different in the Denver scene. After years of experimenting with tones and effects, as well as the additions of drummer Jason Hoke and bassist Jeff Swoboda, the band eventually stumbled onto the sound that would, in fact, set them apart...

FakeFake Your Own Death - San Francisco, CA
One listen to Fake Your Own Death and its easy to feel as if the landscape has shifted and nothing will ever be the same again. The band has the ability to sound fresh, vital and earnest and at the same time vintage and honest; pointing the way towards a poetic and surreal future. The music is as literate, brutal and infectious as the Mission District in San Francisco where they live. In 2009, Terry Ashkinos, David Lentz and Keith Ensign started a recording project with producer, Sean Beresford (Run DMC, Third Eye Blind). Hailing from such indie bands as Elephone (SF), Univac (LA) and American Mars (Detroit), the recordings that would become Fake Your Own Death came out so naturally that all three decided to abandon their other projects...
