Los Angeles-based electro-glam duo, The Polyamorous Affair, is producer and vocalist, Eddie Chacon and vocalist Sissy Sainte-Marie. The group formed in 2007 (While soul searching in Denmark) with the idea of making danceable, retro-european disco that would include their love for Roxy Music, T-Rex and Blondie. Eddie Chacon achieved worldwide acclaim with the 90’s pop-soul group Charles and Eddie ant their platinum selling single "Would I Lie To You". Before that Eddie worked on records with the likes of The Dust Brothers, The Two Live Crew and Daddy-O of Stetsasonic. The duo is rounded out by the doll-like mystique of Sissy Sainte-Marie. Her ghostlike, whispering melodies provide an uncanny counterbalance to Eddie’s broad vocal range. "Innocently perverse" in her wordplay, Sissy draws on her rich inner world, art background, and experience as an elementary school teacher. Together, they playfully spin sexy, dangerous fairy tales of bunnies and bluebirds dancing until dawn on the French Riviera, the ghosts of children racing down the Autobahn devouring candy and fighting off forces of evil, and love dolls coming to life to lay claim to the world in a Summer of Love. Laying heavy doses of decadent retro-European synth licks and sparkling glam melodies over thumping electronic grooves, The Polyamorous Affair wisps us away to a make-believe land of mythical characters, fast cars, dark discoteques, and lots of sexual tension.
