The band began as a Pearl Jam Cover band. however, playing other people’s music was not all that gratifying for 5 high-school kids from Östersund, a small city niched in the low hills of Northern Sweden.
The band decided to morph into a hardcore act which got signed and released a couple of albums with a small Swedish indie. They began to feel however that they were sounding generic and that they still hadn’t developed their “own” sound. That is why they sequested themselves in a home-made studio in a log cabin in the middle of the woods about 18 months ago. They emerged with a bunch of new songs and a new approach. This has led to music that some describe as American West-coast angst laced with 80s indie rock; imagin Tool jamming with REM and U2.
The band has hit the right chord. Their home-made CDR demo has now sold over 1000 copies in Sweden.
