“Kaz is making a big racket with her booming voice and eerily haunting songs” Brian Howard (City Paper, Philadelphia) Gina’s musical style envelopes influences from classical compositions of Schumann to World music of India and Africa all with a Rock edge. Her voice embraces the power and freedom of vocalists like Bjork and Joni Mitchell, while her piano is reminiscent of that of Tori Amos. Think Tori Amos meets Tool. She plays hard and immediately grabs your attention. That is her sound.
Gina started playing piano when she was 8 years old. She sang in grade school choirs and plays and by the time she was 10 years old was composing music. She continued to compose and perform in theater throughout high school and college, while at the same time studying classical piano which included a four year stint at the Bryn Mawr Conservatory of Music in Philadelphia.
By age 24 Gina moved into a professional career in music. Her musical career continues to SOAR! Her songs have been played on WXPN in Philadelphia, WD1Y in Allentown, college radio, 1035AM in London, and on internet radio. She has had her music used in 2 films (“Time of Your Life,” and “Small Town” by an independent filmmaker in London, England). She has been touring the Mid-Atlantic region and also in London.
