Band Promote, a subsidiary of Indy Hits.com, is a music company geared at promoting top unsigned bands and artists to the music industry abroad. We offer various services from promotion to tour booking and even weekly tips on films and TV shows seeking songs.

IndyHits.com is a record label and publishing company designed to help indie artists gain exposure via several licensing mediums like film and television. Our search database is like no other out there. Licensors and Music Supervisors can find the best song for their project by simply entering the genre and key words requested for the scene in their project. For instance, if the film is a teen Holiday love story, then they might select rock and then type in Christmas or snow or December or Holiday or Love etc... All the songs in our database that have any of those key words will be found. Since we are a Co-Publisher, we require the artist to sign a simple agreement alowing us to facilitate the license on their behalf. Indy Hits was founded in 1997 by Mike Galaxy to promote and showcase bands and artists to the music industry. For over several years Mike Galaxy has hosted top industry showcases for up and coming bands and artists helping many of them to obtain record deals, licensing deals and loads of exposure. Showcases have been hosted at such Hollywood landmark venues as the Gig, Viper Room, Dragonfly and the historic Hollywood landmark Studio 56 where Elvis and Guns 'n' Roses have recorded. These special industry showcases have also been presented in many other cities and at several music conferences like SXSW in Austin, NXNW in Portland, EAT'M in Las Vegas, Orlando, Phoenix, New York , Philidelphia and even Trinidad in the Caribbean where he hosted alongside Carmen Elektra for Decibel 2001 and with Willa Ford for Decibel 2002 and on October 9th 2001, Mike Galaxy hosted a September 11th benefit concert at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles which raised funds for various charities. Mike Galaxy also hosts an annual showcase and screening event which takes place in January during the Sundance Film Festival in Park City Utah.

Mike Galaxy also works very closely with top music supervisors in efforts of licensing music for film and TV shows as well as tour booking consultation helping bands and artists plan and book their tours. Mike Galaxy's background comes from years of performing, recording and touring with rock bands and working stints at various record labels like A&M, Priority and Capitol. Mike Galaxy is often tapped to speak on panels at various music conferences like PMC, NXNW, EAT'M, Music Fest Northwest, Decibel, Songs Alive Music Expo, LA Music Scene, and has recently traveled to Chicago, Miami, Houston, Dallas, Cincinnati, Washinton DC, and Atlanta speaking to up and coming artists for NYCFame in discovering new talent.
